Founder — The Car Concierge

A passion that began long before The Car Concierge

I have been passionate about cars since I was a child.

Not just the brands, the models or the design of each car. I was always curious about what lay beneath what I could see: what engine it had, how it worked, why one car was different from another and, above all, what it would be like to drive.

From the first day I drove a car, I realised that driving was, for me, much more than simply a way of getting somewhere. It is one of the experiences I enjoy most.

Over the years I have had the chance to drive hundreds of cars in very different settings: company cars, friends' cars, rentals, courtesy cars, or simply cars I had the opportunity to try. That experience gave me an ever broader perspective on what really sets a car apart — and on the difference between a car that is good and a car that is truly right for a particular person.

The product before the sale

My professional life taught me something else that turned out to be fundamental to this project.

Since the start of my career I have sought to know in depth whatever I represent. Not only its strengths, but also what could be improved, its limitations and the points that may cause difficulties.

I have always believed that a good professional should not only know the arguments in favour of a product. They should also know its weaker points.

Method, transparency, honesty and frankness have always been the pillars of the way I work.

And those are exactly the principles I wanted to bring to The Car Concierge.

Before it was a business, I was already helping people choose their next car

Long before The Car Concierge became a commercial project, helping friends and family choose their next car was already part of my life.

Over the years there were dozens of choices, comparisons, research and conversations. People came to me to understand whether a model made sense for how they would use it, whether an offer was genuinely good, or simply for a second opinion before an important decision.

Before it had a name or a structure, I came to see the value of combining a passion for cars, accumulated experience and a way of working built on method, honesty and attention to detail.

It was from that experience, built up over many years, that the wish grew to turn something I already did naturally into a way of helping more people.

Electric mobility brought a new perspective

My experience with electric mobility added another dimension to this journey.

Switching to an electric car brought me many advantages and experiences I still value. But it also brought doubts, setbacks, discomfort and some decisions that, looking back, I would have made differently.

And I consider that an important part of the story.

Because it is precisely when things don't go as expected that we learn to spot what could have been anticipated.

I learned first-hand that advertised range and real range are not necessarily the same thing. That charging a car can seem simple until you start doing it regularly. That tariffs, chargers, apps, planning and daily use can completely change the experience.

Some of those difficulties came at a cost.

But they became one of the most important lessons I could bring to this project: knowing a car's specifications is not enough. You need to understand how those specifications fit into the life of the person who will drive it.

That is how The Car Concierge was born

The Car Concierge was born from the combination of all of this.

The passion for cars. The experience of driving and comparing hundreds of cars. The years spent learning to know the products I work with in depth. The real experience — mistakes and setbacks included — of electric mobility.

And, above all, the conviction that a good decision always starts with a good diagnosis.

For me, this holds true for any service. Before looking for a solution, you have to understand the problem. Before recommending a car, you have to understand the person.

Their needs, their daily use, their constraints, priorities, preferences and even what they consider non-negotiable.

Without that diagnosis, we can provide a correct service. But it will inevitably be a more generic one.

And I didn't want to create yet another generic car-choosing service.

I wanted to create a service that starts precisely where research usually ends: with the person who will drive the car.

My commitment

At The Car Concierge I don't simply look for a car that matches a list of features.

I look for a solution that makes sense for the person who will use it.

That is why my role is not to defend a brand, a model or a technology. It is to ask the right questions, research the market, know the alternatives, identify risks and help the client make a decision with more information and confidence.

And if, after all that process, the conclusion is that a particular car is not the right choice — or that it simply isn't the right time to buy — that is exactly what I will tell you.

Because The Car Concierge was not created to sell cars.

It was created to help people choose better.

We don't sell cars. We represent the buyer.
